For some strange reason I don’t understand, many of my posts —like this Mad Max puppet version— tend to start off terribly, as if nobody sees them, and then, hours later, they pick up. That keeps them from being a total flop, but it really limits their reach. It’s impossible to make sense of the algorithm, but now more than ever it seems designed to reward low-quality content. And there’s nothing you can do about it. In fact, I see fewer and fewer long videos, and it makes sense, because the effort is rarely worth it.
