🇺🇸🇵🇱🇮🇱 The United States Army, in cooperation with the Inspectorate of the Polish Air Force and with support from Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, conducted a live-fire demonstration of the SPIKE NLOS missile system at the Central Air Force Training Range in Ustka, Poland, Aug. 27, 2025.
During the demonstration, two SPIKE NLOS 5 missiles were launched from AH-64E Apache Guardian attack helicopters, assigned to the 12th Combat Aviation Brigade, at maritime targets, achieving direct hits at ranges of 26 kilometers.
This marked the first time that the U.S. Army employed the SPIKE NLOS missile system in the European theater.
Presumably, the "PBF" on the launch container indicates that the missile is equipped with a Penetrating Blast-Fragmentation (PBF) warhead.
